Cairo: Valu, MENA’s leading financial technology powerhouse, has announced a strategic partnership with Flash, a prominent Egyptian cashless payments fintech company. This collaboration aims to revolutionize the digital payment landscape in Egypt by offering seamless QR code-based payment solutions for both customers and merchants.
Through this partnership, Valu will be integrated into Flash’s expansive merchant network, enabling users to pay for a wide range of services—whether on delivery or in-store—using Valu’s flexible payment options. From food and beverage purchases to online shipments, customers can now choose Valu as a payment method, making their transactions easier and more convenient.

Flash, known for its innovative approach to cashless payments, allows customers to make on-the-spot payments using their smartphones. Merchants, in turn, can accept payments without the need for costly hardware such as point-of-sale (POS) devices, relying instead on QR codes. These QR codes simplify operations, reduce costs, and eliminate potential network issues that can arise from traditional POS systems. Flash supports multiple payment methods, including credit, debit, prepaid cards, and digital wallets. Now, through this partnership, Flash merchants can add Valu to their list of payment options.
Enhancing Digital Payments for Merchants and Consumers
This partnership is set to drive higher transaction volumes for Flash, while expanding Valu’s reach in the digital payments ecosystem. Customers can now use Valu for a variety of transactions—whether making payments at a store, receiving a delivery, or paying for their Valu installments via Flash.
Motaz Lotfy, Senior Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Valu, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are proud to enhance our digital payment solutions for customers across Egypt. Flash is a fast-growing player in the cashless payment space, and by integrating Valu into their ecosystem, we’re making cashless transactions even more accessible and convenient. This partnership also aligns with our sustainability goals, as it helps reduce the costs associated with physical cash collection.”
Sherine Kabesh, Co-Founder of Flash, shared similar enthusiasm: “Our goal is to encourage people to embrace cashless payments and make smarter spending decisions. By partnering with Valu, we’re providing customers with the financial freedom to make purchases using flexible and convenient payment plans.”
